Three Job Myths

Myth#1: Good work will always be recognized and rewarded.
Waiting for your just desserts doesn’t always happen, so it’s always advisable to learn to tout your achievements with finesse.

Myth#2: It’s not what you know, it’s whom you know.
Even in the 90’s world of the Network, skills, training, experience and education still beats being well-connected.

Myth#3: Job-hoppers aren’t successful.
Job-hopping may not be smart, but exploring better opportunities every two or three years is no longer negative in the business world. Who cares if you don’t retire with a gold watch?
